A practical, evidence-backed check before a risky catalog import

Commerce CSV Preflight is operated by BrenesHold LLC through Brenes Revenue Studio. It was built for merchants and catalog operators who need a fast second check before importing a WooCommerce or Shopify product CSV.

What makes the tool useful

The preflight combines a standards-aware CSV parser with separate platform rules. It reports structural errors, duplicate identifiers, variant dependencies, suspicious spreadsheet formulas, and values that deserve review. It does not silently “fix” a file or claim that a store import will succeed.

How quality is maintained

• Rules are traced to official WooCommerce, Shopify, RFC, or OWASP documentation.
• Forty regression CSV files cover valid cases and expected failures across both platforms.
• Automated checks cover parsing, platform rules, accessibility basics, internal links, privacy controls, and release contents.

Privacy is part of the product

The selected CSV stays in browser memory. The release has no upload endpoint, account system, advertising code, cookie, or third-party tracker. A same-origin endpoint stores only anonymous daily counters for page views, completed checks, result type, platform, report downloads, and broad acquisition category. It never receives the file or its diagnostics.
