What the migration preflight checks

Product groupingShopify URL handles are checked so products, extra images, and variant rows can be grouped safely.
Variant identityMissing or duplicate SKUs are flagged when WooCommerce variation links need stable references.
Platform differencesArchived status and fields such as vendor, product category, SEO metadata, and cost are marked for review.
Media readinessImage URLs are validated and remote access is identified as a required staging check.
Source integrityCSV structure, options, prices, identifiers, and spreadsheet formula risks use the existing Shopify preflight rules.

What this report does not cover

A Shopify product CSV cannot prove that orders, customers, discounts, gift cards, apps, themes, domains, or 301 redirects will migrate correctly. The report does not create a WooCommerce import file and does not connect to either store.

WooCommerce documents a separate product schema and warns that unrecognized columns are not imported by default. It also recommends a backup, staging site, and small test import before processing a large catalog.

No store credentials or customer and order exports are requested.

Rules and limitations

The checks follow the Shopify product export guidance, WooCommerce product CSV documentation, and WooCommerce Shopify migration guidance.

Interpretation: “Ready for conversion planning” means no blocking product-CSV issue was found. It is not a guarantee of complete migration or a file ready for direct WooCommerce import.

For the full workflow, use the product CSV migration checklist before staging and cutover.
